Schleich Sloth

This Schleich Sloth (14793) has a curved claw which helps him hang from the branches of tropical rainforest trees. Since sloths always hang from branches upside down, the sloth’s fur grows from its belly towards its back, instead of growing from its back or head. This allows rainwater to drain away better. A sloth’s claws look much like meathooks and can grow to a length of 10-12cm. This sloth is 6cm from the top of outstretched hand to the left-hand side of his torso.
