African Tree With Support

This stunning African Tree by Ostheimer will provide protection, shade and food for the animals. There are three layers to the tree, the green foliage, brown tree trunks and the grassy coloured support base. Connected to the supporting base the African tree stands at 18cm tall and 31cm wide and has soft sanded edges.

The Ostheimer German toymakers have been hand crafting fine natural wooden toys for more than 60 years. All items are sanded, painted with non-toxic stain, and varnished by hand, a process which ensures that each one is absolutely unique. Based on Margarete Ostheimer’s studies of both Waldorf (Steiner) pedagogy and anthroposophy these wooden figures are designed to emphasise the role of imagination in learning.
